   Robe Lake Lodge– Great spot about 10 miles out of downtown overlooking the beautiful Robe Lake.

Best Western Harbor Inn – Right in the harbor and walking distance to most things in Valdez.

Eagle’s Rest RV Park – Great RV park as you come into town, has RV sites, cabins and camping sites.

Other Local Activities –

   Valdez Brewing – A great way to relax after a long day fishing, hiking, backcountry skiing or many other great trips. Featuring a large variety of beer to match everyone’s personal tastes! 

Vertical Solutions – Not saying you should skip a day fishing with us, but this is one of the best things to do in Valdez!

Shopping –

The Prospector – This is the place to shop in Valdez. If you forgot something for a hike, to fish off the shoreline for pinks or pretty much anything else, they are the place to get it.

Totem Inn – Great gift shop in here, a lot of native carvings.

Orca Bay Gifts – You can spend 4 days in here and not find all the different native artwork they have, you will know what I mean when you go in.

Museums –

Maxine & Jesse Whitney Museum – Very cool museum at the local community college.

Valdez Museum – Learning all about the history of Valdez, from the start at the gold rush to the oil spill.
